Alex Jones Claims He Had a "Form of Psychosis" When Spreading Sandy Hook Conspiracies

Alex Jones is currently being sued by the parents of Sandy Hook shooting victims for defamation, because he claimed that they where crisis actors, and that the entire shooting was fake to push gun control.

In a statement posted on YouTube Jones said he believes 26 people were killed in the 2012 shooting, but that "a form of psychosis" made him believe it was staged.

"And I, myself, have almost had like a form of psychosis back in the past where I basically thought everything was staged, even though I'm now learning a lot of times things aren't staged," Jones said. "So I think as a pundit, someone giving an opinion, that, you know, my opinions have been wrong, but they were never wrong consciously to hurt people."

Many believe that the claim that he was in "a form of psychosis" is a made up lie to avoid loosing the lawsuit. Jones has already been banned from all major social media platforms, so all he has now is his website, although, it is unlikely that loosing this case will affect his career. Most of his followers will think that the government is being corrupt for punishing him, and then they will rally around him further.

Jones also relies a lot on selling supplements on his website, how buying a 'Survival Shield X-2" saves the first amendments a mystery to most. He capitalizes on the fact that most companies have banned him from their platforms, trying to slow him down doesn't do anything.

Alex Jones has yet to provide any proof on the claim that he was in a state of psychosis.
