Edward Nathaniel Homes and his wife Cynthia Ann Day went on vacation at the Playa Nueva Romana resort in the Dominican Republic and were found dead today. They were 63 years old and 49 years old, respectively. They checked into the hotel on May 25th.
According to the hotel, the couple had not checked out by their expected time; when staff were sent to check on them, they found their bodies. The hotel released a statement, which read, “We are deeply saddened by the incident at one of our hotels in La Romana, Dominican Republic, and want to express our deepest condolences to their family and friends. The staff immediately contacted the relevant local authorities which have initiated an investigation.”
