No, you did not read that wrong. A video of a boy from a charter school standing in the face of a Native American with a drum.
You probably have already seen the video, but basically a Group of Native Americans were holding a protest, and they were surrounded by a group of people in MAGA hats, with group members shouting "Build The Wall!". Then the boy shown in the front stood in this mans face for a few minutes. The video went viral and here we are.
The weirdest part is that the boy's mom blamed Black Muslims, since they were "Shouting at them" although, on the videos filmed in the area there is no proof of that. Also, she claimed that the native american got in her son's face, which is also untrue, the group he was with approached the native Americans.
The boy was with a private, all-male Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky. The school stated that they were considering punishments, including expelling him. I hope the school punishes him and the other students involved.
What is troubling is that someone who is willing to blame "Black Muslims" for their kids racism has kids. Our country needs help.
Here is the statement from the man with the drum in the video:
“When I was there singing, I heard them saying, ‘Build that wall, build that wall,’” Mr Phillips said, as he wiped away tears in a video later posted on Instagram. “This is indigenous lands. We’re not supposed to have walls here. We never did.”
