Manchester United defeated Tottenham Hotspur by a score of 0-1 on Sunday. The first 30 minutes was relatively uneventful with both sides hitting a few shots. In the 31st minute, Harry Kane had the ball in the back of the net after a beautiful cross from Trippier. The goal was then disallowed because Kane was offside. In the 44th minute, Marcus Rashford scored after a sensational long pass over the top of the Spurs defence by Paul Pogba.
Manchester United were able to hold off Spurs in the second half thanks to David De Gea. De Gea made a total of 11 saves in the game and was picked man of the match by many people.
United have done well since Jose Mourinho was sacked. Solskjaer has lead Manchester United to 6 straight wins in all competition. They are currently in 6th place and are behind Arsenal by goal difference. Meanwhile, Tottenham are in 3rd place and are 2 points behind Manchester City and 9 Points behind Liverpool.
