On Sunday, Masazo Nonaka passed away from natural causes. Masazo Nonaka had held the title for the world’s oldest man since April 10, 2018. “He was as usual yesterday and passed away without causing our family any fuss at all” his granddaughter states. This is just a sample of the amazing longevity of people that reside in Japan, where many world record holders for oldest men and women have lived.
Nonaka was born on July 25, 1905. For comparison, the Ottoman Emipre still existed at the time of Nonaka's birth. Nonaka lived with his family in his home near a hot spring located in Hokkaido, an island in Japan. He unfortunately lost his wife and three of his children, but still enjoyed life with the rest of his family. His living family includes his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
