On Friday, Donald Trump announced the details of his 2020 re-election campaign. Trump will start his campaign in Florida, which has been a crucial swing state in the past several elections. He will hold a rally on June 18th in Orlando. On Friday, Trump tweeted on the matter. His tweet stated, “I will be announcing my Second Term Presidential Run with First Lady Melania, Vice President Mike Pence, and Second Lady Karen Pence on June 18th in Orlando, Florida, at the 20,000 seat Amway Center. Join us for this Historic Rally!”
Despite Trump facing opposition in the Republican nomination, he almost certainly will get nominated. Meanwhile, the race for the Democratic nomination will be much more competitive. Currently, over 20 major candidates are running for the Democratic nomination. It will be interesting to see which candidate will win the Democratic nomination and take on Trump in the general election.
