On Monday night, Donald Trump invited the Clemson Tigers football team to the white house. This happened a week after the Tigers won the NCAA Championship game in which they beat the Alabama Crimson Tide by a score of 44-16. In the White House, the players were served fast food by the president. Yes, fast food. “Because of the shutdown, as you know, we have the great Clemson team with us, the national champions. So we went out and ordered American fast food. Paid for by me. Lots of hamburgers. Lots of pizza,” Trump told reporters. "We have some very large people that like eating, so I think we're going to have a little fun."
Trump is known to be a big fan of fast food. He appears to like fast food better than gourmet cuisine. “I think the food is good. I think all of those places, Burger King, McDonald’s, I can live with it. The other night I had Kentucky Fried Chicken. Not the worst thing in the world.” Trump said in a town hall debate on CNN.
